We started The Best Surrey to cut through the noise — too many fake reviews, too many businesses claiming they're number one. Our goal is simple: a short, honest list of the top 5 in every category.
Independent rankings
Every list is built from public review sources — Google Maps, Yelp, BBB, HomeStars, and industry-specific platforms — combined with years in business and community reputation. No business can pay for a ranking.
We're a small Surrey-based team that grew tired of search-result clutter and pay-to-play directories. We wanted one place where Surrey residents could trust the recommendation.
Locally focused
Only businesses physically operating in Surrey, BC are eligible. We don't list "service area" companies based in Vancouver, Langley, or Delta — Surrey residents deserve to know which businesses are actually theirs.
We also lean toward locally-owned independents. National chains can be excellent, but Surrey has hundreds of small businesses worth celebrating, and we'd rather highlight them.
